Great Gatsby was a novel about a rich bootlegger that dreamed of getting his girl back and starting life anew. It tells us a lot about what can be. Hey, nic carraway is gay. The story dances all around the theme, but never explicitly says so. Well, there are many reasons. Great Gatsby was written in the 20's jazz era. People were not as open as now.

Gold Standard

Gold Standard is what we need now. That would help end the economic crisis we are in. For example, we need to get rid of our paper money. Oh yes, that is all it is. Basically, it is paper. Instead, we should go back to the gold standard again. Well, that way we can tame inflation and get our federal deficit under control before it ruins us. Printing more money is not the solution to our problem as we saw in weimar germany. Result of that one was the world in ruins.

rich versus poor

Hey, we see a widening rich poor gap. Also, a decrease in income. That is not good for our economy. Most of the rich as moving money over seas. Well, this is to avoid taxes, and also they do not feel secure. People are starting to worry. Like our gov is going after the wealthy with more rules an regs. Citizens, this cannot end well for any of us.

time travel to 1950's

People dream of going back to simpler times as in the leave it to beaver TV movies. OK so reps want to time travel to 1950's when jobs were many. It was a wonderful time to be poor. Houses sold for low prices. People could afford a new car. Sadly, that is not the case now.

no more games

People say no more games. What do they mean anyway? Perhaps they should look at gaming companies. Those are doing super poor. Most are laying off programmers. Look at the game stop store that is near. Empty most of the time now. People can just down load programs for free so they do not want to pay. Fact is, it will soon be game over.

changes are coming

Times are changing soon. I believe we will have a new prez. Hope he can revive our economy. Yeah, that would be mega. Fear of double dip recession rises. People do worry. Changes are coming.

ebay new vision

OK so ebay has a new logo part of a new vision. People say it is the same. Color are similar, except for one. Look at the new "b" which is a lighter shade of cyan. Also, font is thinner making it seem so mean. Colors are not as rich now. Except both use vomit green. Also, the "Y" use to be upper case. It is lower case now. Please focus on the overlaps which are gone.

iran war

Looks to me like an a messy iran war. That is what is coming. People need to prepare. Could soon be shortages of gas. Folks, our situation is very grave. Yeah, in more ways an one.
