miss snow

 Funny, as it gets even warmer... like people start to miss snow. Yeah, we start to forget just how cold it really was. OK, so that should never amaze us. Ah yes, there are so many ice massive unwarm memories.

night

 At night there is a pleasant breeze that blows cool air. OK, so as I walk along the shore it blows through the trees and over some waves. It is great to live near a warm sea. Inland is far warmer in summer.

hard rain

 I see a column of dark clouds at the very edge of our horizon and those usually do point to an impending hard rain. Brothers and sisters, I do not want to try to sugar coat what is going on. Frankly, our situation is dire when the fat is on fire, and we wish that we had some nice news. However, that is most definitely not what we see.

economic crisis

 Fellow colleagues, an economic crisis is so near. Yeah, we indeed do fear... like a massive recession. Sadly, the whole world is going to hell in a hand basket and we notice that things are going even worse. Do hope that my predictions are wrong.  However, that is certainly not what we see.

food prices

 People find our situation so worrisome. OK, so food prices soar. Tell that to farmers as they see fertilizer costs go up. Yeah, our world is in woe. Basically, this tragedy affects every sector of our economic crisis. Do hope our circumstances change soon.

Pleasantville

 There used to be this old town and Pleasantville was its name. It was full of rusty trailers and shacks that were beat up. In fact, I used to call it unPleasantville years ago. Let me add, there was this large junkyard full of smashed up rusty cars. Well, I took a look right now. The junkyard is no more. Also, the rusty trailers are gone. OK, so I did see some new beautiful two-story houses that were nice. Funny how things can change on us.

ice

 Funny, how down in the deep valley it is warm. However, way up in the mountains, there is still a lot of ice. Also, we have thick piles of snow. Those do not melt until we are deep inside of a scorching summer.

real estate

Oh wow, real estate prices jest keep on going up. Inflation is on a roar. Basically, it is all of our prices. Just take a look in your grocery. Food is becoming a rare luxury now. Yeah, it is the equivalent of a massive mansion.

ocean

 There is something truly special about when we see rain on an ocean. Words cannot begin to describe our joy. Yet, there is a strange feeling that stirs inside of us.

 OK, so 13 is said to be an unlucky number for some reason. Hey, like we do not know what it is. Yeah, we can guess. Could be the thirteen at a table painting - such as in the last supper.

eve

 I really do like the beautiful colorful skies of an eve. Those do fill us with a deeply profound sense of wonder about our universe. God, we truly do thank you for what you have given us. Certainly, it is so awesome.

nuclear power

 People are pushing for nuclear power once more. It is said to be a lot more green. Ah yes, we do compare it to fossil fuels that we use. Do ask Fukushima about what their own opinion is. I am sure... that it might make you think again.

food crisis

 There are many serious consequences.... like of the Ukraine war. OK, so a looming food crisis is one.  Frankly, this should not amaze us. After all, we do know that a lot of ports are blockaded right now.

dry

 Things have been a bit dry this year. Hey, it feels like a desert even. Flowers are slowly drying up. Don't know what the reason is. However, we do have a guess. It might be due to global warming. Certainly, it has been one warm summer.

price increases

 Fellow colleagues, inflation has been hammering away at us. Do notice that the price increases are massive. Sadly, that is not the same in our wages. Those can barely keep up. It is a tragic time we are in. Dark ages are near.
