wind power

Humans have been using wind power for thousands of years. This creates no pollution for us. It is a great power source. Sadly, we still depend on fossil fuels to move. Do hope that in the future, this is not our case.

music

People do not spend a lot on music. Blame our poor economy. CD sales are getting worse. Often we wonder if there we are gonna see a recovery. Frankly, there is none. It is easy to go on the internet and listen to free music.

Fifty years ago

Fifty years ago... we talked about the future with awe. Scientists said we would all have flying cars and men on mars. All we have today is fidget spinners. /yawn

civil war

John Titor talked about a civil war. He said it was not about races. Well, he might indeed be so wrong. Friends, things are going worse. I see a new civil war. Sadly, there are a lot of hard choices ahead and no easy ones.

egg prices

Future egg prices are going up. Expect this trend to go on. Actually, eggs were quite cheap this year. Well, we see an increase in grain costs and this will affect egg price. Frankly, get used to paying more. OK, so this might affect your grocery. They can often use as a door opener... low prices for bread, milk, and eggs.

LA is park poor

LA is park poor. There need to be more green spaces. Yet, we see that is not our case. First off, getting more land is expensive. Cities do not use parks to make money. OK, so they prefer to sell the land to a condominium developer and he will pay a lot of taxes over many years.

new music

Listen to the new music. It tastes as bland as a big mac. Certainly, we can blame over processing. Often what we obtain are computer generated sounds that remind me of some crimson noise. Do hope for the best, but we feel that things are going to get even worse.

success

Ten theories on success. Most are so wrong. Basically, it is about luck and not skill as we often are told, but here we are. It is great to be smart, but being lucky is often better for us.

raise

Hey, where is my raise? There has been a sluggish growth in pay. Just look at workers wages. Oh wow, those are not growing.

cold temp

Unusually cold temperatures are taking over. This is not a sign of global warming. Quite the opposite is our case. I do not wanna hear on a polar vortex anymore. Friends, there is none. However, we might be going into a mini ice age. Well, that would explain a lot of what we are now seeing. Please do open your eyes. Look at the cold temp on your thermometer if you do not believe me. Could that be a fluke or a sign of what is to come? Record low temperatures are not what you expect with a global temperature rise.

go gray

It could be that you wanna go gray. I do not mean as a hair color but in images. Black and white is so serene. Often, color is a distraction for us. Well, here we are.

Jobs

Jobs in food service increase. Hey, we have to eat every single day, but restaurant pay is poor. Most jobs in services pay minimum wage or near so. Get used to not having a lot of material things and listening to bill collectors calling you up.

foreign imports

All we see is more companies moving over seas. Hey, foreign imports of cars... typically shatter our country’s fragile economy. Executives simply do not care. What they want is for their stock to go up. Sadly, here we are.
